B&B Italia Bend — sculptural design by Patricia Urquiola

The B&B Italia Bend was designed in 2010 by Patricia Urquiola and consciously breaks away from the classic sofa shape. Its monolithic, hand-modeled-looking body actually originates from digital 3D study work; the contrasting decorative stitching emphasizes the curved, dynamic surface. The name "Bend" refers to precisely this interplay of solid and recessed volumes. An internal tubular steel frame with cold-molded polyurethane ensures both shape and comfort.

Bend at aaron-gmbh.com — Sustainable luxury

As a sculptural corner sofa, the Bend makes an independent statement in any room and is as suitable for open floor plans as it is for prestigious living areas. The curved, organic form and the contrasting seam make it a striking individual piece. The removable covers facilitate everyday maintenance.
