Minotti Hamilton – sofa with a surrounding metal base

Rodolfo Dordoni, Minotti's art director from 1998 to 2023, designed the Hamilton in 2004; Minotti now speaks of a worldwide success. The structure is made of solid wood, padded with highly elastic polyurethane foam in different densities; elastic belts provide springing for the seat. The seat and back cushions have a polyurethane core surrounded by goose down in compartments. Beneath the sofa runs a metal base, black nickel-plated or bronze-coloured; alternatively, it stands on ash wood feet.
